This Fall Season has marked the kick-off of the second year together for two Real Colorado teams. . . Real Colorado Inter and Real Colorado Atletico . . . playing in the Colorado Masters Soccer League, Men's Over 35 Division.

The teams have provided a great opportunity for Real Colorado coaches, parents and friends with a soccer background to enjoy playing the game together!

It's been fun to see some hidden talents continue to emerge on the soccer pitch . . . including skills that our players first developed growing up in Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, England, Finland, Mexico, Peru . . . and even the island country of Aruba!

League games are played on Sundays, in the Denver metro area. The league season is 8 games in the Fall and 8 games in the Spring.

Each of our teams has enjoyed a strong Fall season. The Real Colorado Inter team won the Gold Division League Championship, with an undeafeated 7-0-1 season. The Real Colorado Atletico team was one of the most improved teams in the league, with the addition of 6 new players.

Many of our younger Real Colorado players enjoyed the opportunity to come watch their dads and coaches huff and puff thru 90 minutes. The guys enjoyed the fan support!

By the time this article goes to press, the Fall Season will be complete . . . and the teams will be resting and rehab'ing for the Spring Season!

Age requirements - Most players on an Over 35 Division team must be at least 35 years old, as of September 1, 2005. There's also an opportunity for a team to have three players who are between 30 and 35 years old. The team's goalkeeper must be at least 25 years old.
