GENERAL INFORMATION:

• WHEN:  
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, May 28-31, 2010
  • Memorial Day Weekend
  • All metro area teams including Boulder, Ft. Collins and Colorado Springs must be prepared to play at 2 pm on Friday, May 28 (NO EXCEPTIONS). 
  • Non-metro area teams may request a Friday, May 28 game
  • ** Please note that a large number college coaches do come in for Friday games 
  • Otherwise all non-metro teams must be prepared to play at 8 am on Saturday, May 29

  WHO: 

  • U15 - U17 Boys and Girls, ODP/State Cup, Elite and Premier Teams only 
  • Over half of our total number of teams for 2008 and 2009 were from outside of Colorado
  • Real CO National U15, U16, U17 and U18 Girls teams will play in the Colorado Showcase 2010! 

   

• WHERE:  

  • Dick's Sporting Goods Park, home of the Colorado Rapids
  • Your team will have a fantastic soccer experience
  • 23 Full-sized Fields on site                                                       
  • 2 Synthetic Turf fields
  • Located on 917 acres
  • All fields fully lit in this State-of-the-Art Facility

  ENTRY FEE:
  • ENTRY FEE: $925 PER TEAM
  • EVERY REGISTRATION PACKAGE WILL INCLUDE 15 VOUCHERS FOR 15 COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS FOR ONE OF THREE COLORADO RAPIDS HOME GAMES DURING THE 2010 SEASON.
  • One of these two home games will be played in the stadium at Dick's Sporting Goods Park during the 2010 Colorado Showcase.
  • No tournament play during Rapids game.
  • There will be special incentives for all teams who order their team tickets prior to February 15, 2010 and for teams who order specific numbers of extra tickets (also at discounted prices). See CO Rapids Tickets Page for more Information.
  • Payment will be accepted by credit card online when application is made or via check which must be received in the Real office within 2 weeks of application.
  • All tournament fees will be charged upon application.
  • No team will be scheduled without full payment -- no exceptions.
  • Any team not accepted will be notified by email and tournament fee will be fully refunded.
  • No fees will be refunded after acceptance via email.
  • Only a limited number of teams will be accepted.

  APPLICATION PROCESS:

  • All applications must be made online
  • Out of State teams may request early acceptance for purposes of making travel arrangements by emailing their request to the Tournament Director at cindyt@realcolorado.net when they apply.
  • Application Deadline is April 22, 2010. Any application received after April 22 must include a $50 late fee.

  • Entry Fee non-refundable after acceptance.

  ROSTER/PLAYER INFORMATION:

  • Spring 2010 or Fall 2009 (depending on last season played) rosters must be provided at check-in.
  • Teams must be duly registered with their respective state associations.
  • Teams may include up to (6) guest players but may not exceed a total roster size of 22.  All other players must be rostered to team making application.
  • ODP Teams may have a roster size of up to 22 players.
  • All players, including guests, must have a valid Fall 2009/Spring 2010 approved, laminated state youth player pass card with player’s picture.
  • All USYS teams from outside Colorado must provide approved travel papers at Team Check-in or they will not be allowed to play.
  • US Club teams are not required to have Travel Papers.
  • Players who appear on a club team roster and an ODP roster may play on both teams in the ODP/State Cup Finalist Division, only.
  • ODP teams are not required to produce player passes.
  • No players may exceed 120 minutes of play per day. 
   
• TEAM SELECTION:
  • Selection to the tournament will be based on team history and record.
  • Placement in specific divisions will be based on team history and record.
  • ODP Teams and State Cup Champions/Finalists to play in ODP/State Cup Finalist Division.
  • Late entries will be placed on a space available basis, and must pay the $50 late fee.
   
• GENERAL INFORMATION:
  • All traveling teams are required to make their reservations through Anthony Travel OR THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY (Must-Stay-To-Play)  Click here to make your reservations now.
  • All teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games, one game per day.
  • Communication from the Colorado Showcase will be via email and website only, so team contact, team manager, team coach should check email and this website often, please.
  • Team check-in reception will be held from 12-7 pm on Friday, May 28, 2009, at the Cantina at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
  • Field check-ins will be available, but only if arrangements are made with the Tournament Director in advance.
  • Officials will be certified by the USSF.
  • Results of each day’s play will be available online.
  • This is a great time of year for tournaments in Colorado!  Your team will have a wonderful time with great competition and college coach exposure.
   
• COLLEGE COACHES WILL ATTEND 
  • Excellent opportunity for all players to be seen by college coaches from all over the country and from all collegiate divisions.
  • This is the eighth year for our growing college showcase
  • Every year the number of coaches increases
  • NOTE:  Many, many college coaches come in to watch Friday games.
