Spring 2012 Recreational Registration Information:

Registration will be open from November 15 thru January 20.  Returning players must register by January 20 in order to receive priority placement to return to their former team.

Late registration will be open from January 21 until that age group is full.  There will be an additional fee of $10 beginning on January 21.

Programs 

U4 Cubbies Program – Calling all energetic and fun loving kids to join us for Cubbies soccer!  Cubbies is an innovative and interactive program for kids ages 3 to 4 that introduces them to the enjoyment of soccer through child friendly themes and play.  This program meets once a week for 45 minutes and is offered over a six week season in the fall and again in the spring. Come out and join us as we teach the basics of soccer while we play Cookie Monster, Red Light Green Light and Pick Up the Laundry.  It will make you wish you were a kid again! U5 – U6 Recreational Program – This program is designed to offer young players the opportunity to discover the health benefits of an active lifestyle while learning a fun and exciting sport. This age will have one practice per week and 7-8 games each season. The games are played 4v4 on small fields with small goals and no goalkeepers. The focus is on developing their comfort with the ball, encouraging them to take chances on the field, and learning the dynamics of a team sport.  For any questions about U5-U8 programs, please contact Sara Connolly at sarac@realcolorado.net.

U7 – U8 Recreational and Rec with ATS
Recreational Soccer --$ 130 per season
Encouraging our youth to embrace an active lifestyle while having fun and learning a team sport is our focus as we add goalies to the team and play 6v6 on larger fields with larger goals. This age will have 1 practice per week and 7-8 games each season (spring and fall). U8 teams can request an additional 1 practice per week and we will accommodate those teams on a field/space available basis.
Under 8 Girls and Boys w/Advanced Training Sessions (ATS) --$ 200 per season
Our Juniors Program provides 5 Advanced Training Sessions with a Skills Coach to compliment the training program provided by their coach.   The entire team must agree to participate in the Juniors Program. Teams will practice 2 times per week and will have 7-8 games per season.  The location and time of your session might fall outside your normally schedule practice time to make best use of our skills trainers.  For any questions about U5-U8 programs, please contact Sara Connolly at sarac@realcolorado.net.

U9 and U10 Recreational, Rec with ATS, and U10 Option 1
Recreational Soccer--$ 185 per season
This program offers a fun way to learn a team sport and gain the health benefits of an active lifestyle. The aim of this program is to provide a soccer experience that meets the needs of the majority of young players in Douglas County and the surrounding areas. At this age we play 8v8 on a larger field with 2 practices per week and 7-8 games per season.
 
Recreational with Advanced Training Sessions --$ 255 per Season
This exciting option for our aspiring young talents will bring our players in contact with some of the best coaches and Advanced Trainers at Real Colorado. In addition to their regular practices with their volunteer coach, the Juniors Program offers 5 advanced Training Sessions with a Skills Coach to challenge the player with advanced training ideas and concepts. **CYS Option 1 League for U10 and older teams - an additional $50 per player to your existing program choice.
Colorado Youth Soccer offers a state league for those committed players and teams looking for a little more soccer and travel.  Those teams that qualify for the option 1 league, are interested in playing a 9-10 game schedule, and are open for more travel should contact Beckieb@realcolorado.net for U10's and DDemmel@realcolorado.net for U11 and older.
